DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Renaissance! Set in the 1590s\, where the Black Plague has ceded power to the Puritans\, farthingales and codpieces are the latest fashion trend\, and the biggest rock star celebrity in England is a little-known playwright by the name of William Shakespeare.  In an attempt to keep their acting company afloat\, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom desperately try to write a hit play to out-Bard the Bard. When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing\, dancing\, and acting at the same time\, the Bottom brothers strive to write the world’s very first “musical.”  They soon find themselves caught in a bitter battle with the Bard and amidst the scandalous excitement of opening night\, the Bottom brothers realize that reaching the top means being true to thine own self\, and all that jazz. With songs by Grammy Award-winning songwriter Wayne Kirkpatrick and Tony nominations including best musical\, Something Rotten! is a hysterical\, joyous celebration of everything you love about Broadway from the last 400 years or so and reminds you that “nothing’s as amazing as a musical.”

DESCRIPTION:When Ren and his mother move from Chicago to a small farming town\, he is prepared for the inevitable adjustment period at his new high school.
